Comparison of the effect of basic CPR training, in-person and e-learning, on self-efficacy of secondary school students

INTRODUCTION: Today, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training is highly important to save the lives of people in need CPR by those present at scene, and it useful study new tools this field. This aimed determine compare effect basic face-to-face electronic on self-efficacy high school students. METHODS: randomized controlled field trial was conducted second-grade students Tabas, Iran, referring schools an announced call. The samples (n=62) were randomly selected divided into two groups e-learning (n=31 each). Both completed Basic Resuscitation Skills Self-Efficacy Scale baseline 1 week 2 months after intervention. collected data analyzed SPSS software (version 20) using statistical measures mean standard deviation tests t-test, Chi-square, repeated analysis variance. FINDINGS: results showed that both methods significantly increased training. In addition, a significant difference observed between regarding score intervention (P<0.001). CONCLUSION: Considering benefits students' learning, method should be used seriously for
